Bruschetta with garlic herb bread

 
Bruschetta

An easy appetizer to have before dinner or a yummy snack with a wine night in! I like to serve this in a bowl with the bread on the side so it doesn’t get soggy but you can also assemble it and place it on a serving platter. I usually top it with Parmesan cheese and a little balsamic reduction.

Ingredients:

  • 6 Roma tomatoes, diced

  • 4 garlic cloves, minced

  • About 1/4 cup Basil leaves, sliced

  • Celtic sea salt

  • Pepper

  • Olive oil

Directions:

  1. Prepare your tomatoes, minced garlic, and basil leaves then add to a bowl.

  2. Add a little bit of olive oil (approximately 2 tbs) Celtic sea salt, and place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Bread

Ingredients for garlic herb bread:

  • French baguette sliced into 1/2 inch pieces

  • 2tbs butter

  • Thyme

  • Rosemary

  • 2 garlic cloves minced

Directions:

  1. set oven to 300

  2. Heat butter, garlic + spices in a microwave-safe bowl for about 30 seconds until butter is melted

  3. Brush onto sliced bread

  4. Place in the oven for about 12 minutes
